    • The Carolina Agency is a full-service, student run agency at the University of South Carolinas School of Journalism and Mass Communications. TCA provides innovative solutions to communications issues presented by clients across the Southeast. Founded in 2005 by faculty member Jeffrey Ranta, TCA is one of 37 student-run agencies nationally affiliated with the Public Relations Student Society of America. The agency has enjoyed a long and productive career with a network of affiliations in the academic, not-for-profit, start-up and established business sectors. We offer real work for real clients. The goal of the agency is to provide supplemental internship experiences for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as, introduce them to real world client service in a controlled, pseudo-academic environment.
