We are located in the middle of historic downtown Charleston, South Carolina and have been practicing architecture since 1992.A multi-faceted group, NSA has worked extensively in downtown Charleston, throughout the low country and other regions on a variety of projects. We are highly skilled in addressing and presenting both complex and modest-sized projects to design review boards, neighborhood associations, and jurisdictional agencies. We have completed a large body of work within the historic district of Charleston, SC, and when approaching the public with our designs, we stress the importance of designing buildings that can be folded into Charleston's vivid past while enriching its modern day context.The scope of our projects range from minutely detailed canopy systems to large urban infill projects. Regardless of the project, our focus is on creatively challenging designs in both the commercial and residential realms and includes hotel annexes, restaurants, bars, offices, retail spaces, car dealerships, and prototypes.
