• Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. (Consider How One Individual Changes Everything) Our mission is to make the world a better place right now and for generations to come by providing a hand up to responsible, gifted, hardworking individuals in need of temporary assistance who have the values, commitment, and power to create opportunity for themselves and others. Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. (Consider How One Individual Changes Everything) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. CHOICE is a foundation that focuses on securing college entry and providing college scholarships through student participation and accomplishment of our High School Mentoring Program. We focus on preparing specifically hand-picked, at risk students for life after high school, while providing them with the resources, skills, and mentoring relationships necessary to promote a seamless transition.. In particular, the C.H.O.I.C.E. Mentoring Program will be seeking students who demonstrate their responsibility, motivation, and determination to overcome their own personal circumstances. C.H.O.I.C.E. Mentoring Objectives Include: Integrate case management with mentoring best practices. Reach students in low income families with desire and determination. Address inadequate college and career preparation through various workshops & activities. Provide real life career skills awareness & development Provide an opportunity for students to expand their knowledge in entrepreneurship activities and teachings Use creativity and developmental thinking strategies to show students their true capabilities Increase on time, high school graduation rates with the students in our program. Increase college acceptance rates with the students in our program. Increase students decision making abilities with the students in our program. Provide our students with college scholarships
