• Our mission is to ensure that k-12 students with a verified financial need can afford and have equal access to Arizona private schools. Brophy Community Foundation (BCF) is an independent non-profit school tuition organization (STO) incorporated in 1998 in response to the Arizona Private School Tuition Tax Law of 1997 (A.R.S. Section 43-1089). This law allows Arizona taxpayers to donate up to $1,087 if single, or $2,173 if married filing jointly (2016 maximums), to a STO, such as BCF and receive a dollar-for-dollar Arizona income tax credit for their donation. Donations made by April 18, 2017, qualify for a 2016 tax credit. Corporations (C&S) and insurance companies may also receive a 100% Arizona income tax credit for their contributions to the BCF. There is no limit to the amount of this contribution, but there is a $74.3M annual statewide cap available on July 1, 2017. Last year the cap was consumed in 6 hours! This credit is very popular in our business community so plan ahead by contacting Dawn Kennedy at dkennedy@brophyprep.org well before July 1st. Arizona Department of Revenue approves corporate contributions on a first come, first served basis.
