- For nearly 30 years, SoloHill Engineering, Inc. has been committed to providing innovative solutions for cell-based research and manufacturing applications. Founded in 1984, SoloHill scientists have conducted extensive research, concentrating on the development of new types of microcarriers. To-date, SoloHill has been awarded over 20 SBIR grants by the NIH. These partially support SoloHills ongoing R & D efforts to develop and produce unique microcarriers. Today, SoloHill holds 4 patents relating to microcarrier-cell-culture-based applications. The company's ongoing R & D efforts have resulted in the microcarrier industry's most diverse product offerings in addition to a portfolio of custom designed solutions for proprietary customer applications.
