Inland Empire 66ers

Description

• The Inland Empire 66ers took home their sixth California League title in 2013, and their first since as an Angels affiliate. San Manuel Stadium proved to be the winning environment for the Angels as well. The major league partner had not won a championship through their California League affiliate since 1996. After being shut out while with Inland Empire rival Rancho Cucamonga, the Angels are enjoying the spoils of a California League crown with Inland Empire as much as the 66ers and their fans are. While the teams on-field performance brought home a championship, the Inland Empire 66ers brought home their best attendance season since 2009 and second highest since 2005. The team welcomed 192,549 fans through the gates of San Manuel Stadium in 2013.The outstanding promotional schedule also kept the turnstiles turning. Among the top promotional nights were the 66ers annual Disabilities Awareness Night, Military Appreciation Night and Heroes night. The team also won a coveted Promotion of the Month award from Minor League Baseball or their Zombie Apocalypse Night June 20th. The team raised over $15,000 dollars for Loma Linda Children’s Hospital during their annual golf tournament, raised over $20,000 for the families of injured police officers during Protect & Serve Night, and had over 30,000 participants in its Hit the Books Reading Program.Get social with the 66ers and win prizes:Like on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/66ersBaseballFollow on Twitter: @66ersbaseball
