Get Full AccessDescription
- The WorkFaith Connection is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization that provides job readiness training and career advancement planning for adults in transition. Our program begins with an intensive eight-day workshop followed by job search, support and 1-2 years of life coaching. Many of the people we serve have struggled with unstable life patterns such as addiction, prison, abuse or homelessness. We enter into their lives at the point when they are ready to change and have made a commitment to a new way of living. Families and our community are strengthened as a result of God's life-transforming work. The WorkFaith Connection has trained over 1,600 men and women. Over 1,000 Houston are employers have hired WorkFaith graduates. 80% of our graduates are getting jobs because of the tools they learn in our classroom. The WorkFaith Connection is seeking volunteers, employer partners and donors to help us support the men and women we serve. We welcome men and women to participate in our free 8 day job readiness program. We are a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit.
