• Madera Sella LLC began its operation in 2007. The inspiration for the company was the realization that there is a need for a company that can provide a vast selection of Uruguayan wines from family wineries which after many generations of production have dedicated their commitment to produce flavors, aromas and unique sensations designed to appeal to a diverse clientele. The company will be headquartered in Wellington, FL. Its operations will expand nationally and internationally. Madera Sella has been growing grapes and making wine in Uruguay for over 8 years and is poised to enter the US market in June, 2014. Initial shipments have been pre-sold indicating strong demand for this highly publicized wine. Madera Sella grows and produces its own line of wines with the focus on the varietal Tannat, referred to by the most prominent wine aficionados as well as doctors and universities around the world as the Fountain of Youth. The grape varietal Tannat has the highest level of polyphenols, procyanidins, flavenoids and resveratrol of any red wine grape. The wine is approachable in both flavor and alcohol content. Tannat is accompanied by various Tannat blends such as Tannat/Merlot and others Tannat has received widespread notoriety including professionals such as Dr. Oz and Philip Corder pHD. This wine has the potential to achieve similar success that Malbec from Argentina experienced.
