The Method is based on respect for the child and where he/she is in their own personal development. Children move through the classroom at their own pace with individual guidance from teachers. Children needing more help can receive it, and those ready to move forward are able to do so with out any limitation placed on them or needing to wait for other children to catch up. Each child has the ability to progress on their own.The Montessori method promotes independence and simple responsibilities which leads to the development of self esteem and the self confidence needed to take on bigger challenges, such as academics. Children work on social skills, problem solving, and learning respect for others and materials in the classroom This holistic approach helps children develop a love for learning therefore becoming motivated learners. The ultimate goal at farmview is to lay a solid foundation that children can continue to build on through out their education as well as life!Farmview offers full day and half day programs.
