• American Surveying & Environmental, LLC (ASE) is a small sized firm with a 20+ year history in the Seattle and Puget Sound area offering professional surveying, construction staking, and planning services. Formerly known as American Engineering Corporation (AEC), ASE was formed in 2012 when the employees purchased the business from the principal of AEC, Einar Gundersen. Our staff members have worked together on a variety of survey projects involving boundary surveys, topographic surveys and site mapping for design, roadway and right of way surveys, constructions layout services for building construction and civil site development, ALTA surveys for commercial & residential properties, parking lots and underground utilities, new housing projects for residential and multifamily, condominium surveys, FEMA Elevation Certificate surveys and settlement monitoring. Our staff is also experienced in the field and is able to provide coordination and observation during the entire development process from feasibility to construction with the city, engineering consultants, contractors, or architects. American Surveying & Environmental, LLCs drafting department is equipped with the latest version of AutoCAD Civil 3D as we are on the subscription program with Autodesk and we automatically are upgraded with the latest versions of CADD programs as they are introduced. Our drafters attend continuing education classes as well as online webinars to maintain a high level of proficient use of the software.
