- Minicams was established in 2008 to provide specialist cameras and systems for both wet and dry hire to the broadcast industry. The team has operated and installed specialist camera systems around the world on some of the highest profile sporting events. With considerable experience in aerial photography and with Winter and Summer Olympics events, Minicams specializes in getting hard-to-achieve shots. As a result, the founder, Nick McLachlan, won an RTS award for his camera work on The Family series 1. With a vast amount of industry experience and technical understanding, we believe in providing honest and practical advice, combined with the best equipment and crews. Please feel free to contact us regarding your production requirements or for any advice on specialist camera systems.I bring with me my determination to provide the best service as possible, which resulted in me having a hugely successful career as a freelance specialist camera technician and operator.
