• Deer Country Farm & Lawn was formed in September 2004 when Landis Bros. Inc. and Adamstown Equipment merged to form a new company, Deer Country Farm & Lawn, Inc.Landis Bros., in business since 1920, had a combination Ag and Lawn & Garden store in Lancaster and a Lawn and Garden store in Lebanon. Adamstown Equipment, in business since 1959, had a combination Ag and Lawn & Garden store in the Adamstown area.The main focus of the merger was to better serve customers in the surrounding area by providing an increased level of service, larger parts inventories, and access to more in-stock equipment.It was with this goal in mind that Deer Country purchased Lehigh Ag in September of 2005. Lehigh Ag was a John Deere dealer in Allentown, PA, and was also an Agriculture and Lawn & Garden equipment dealer.This new Deer Country location is located in the same building as the former Lehigh Ag business, at 6670 Ruppsville Road in Allentown. This acquisition enabled Deer Country to extend its services to the Northern Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Schuylkill and Bucks Counties as well as Northern New Jersey.Stop in and let us know how we can better serve your needs.
