- The Performance Training Institute was founded and incorporated in 1986. In 2001, PTI was accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). PTI has been named as a testing site for National Health Medical Administrative Assisting Certification, Billing and Coding Specialist Certification, and Microsoft Office Specialist Certification Center. In October 2007, PTI was recognized for our commitment to high standards of quality and dedication to career education by the ACCSC, and awarded a certificate as a School of Distinction. From the beginning, we have developed our comprehensive offerings to include a suite of fully robust online industry-focused programs.
