• Chuck Banner and Ben Caswell formed BannerCaswell Productions in the summer of 2005. A year later, the company sold its inaugural television series: What Happens Next, a half-hour medical series that uses clever animations to make learning about what goes on inside your body fun and accessible. WHN began its 26-episode run in HD on the Veria Channel in Fall, 2007. BCP's second series Chasing The Yum stars Jet Tila, a third generation chef who de-mystifies Asian cuisine by teaching us step-by-step how to make exotic Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Indian favorites at home. CTY's 26-episode Veria run begins in July 2008. Chuck and Ben began their association 15 years ago at Chuck's father's company: Bob Banner Associates. BBA is the company behind such seminal TV series as Candid Camera, The Carol Burnett Show, Solid Gold, Star Search, and Showtime at the Apollo, among others. To preserve the legacy, BCP is developing Bob Banner Digital TV, using emerging technology as a platform to find new outlets for distribution, including digital signage.Ben and Chuck worked together on BBA's Real Kids, Real Adventures for Discovery Kids. In its final of three seasons in 2001, the series was nominated for an Emmy for Best Series for Children. Ben wrote a third of the episodes, including the pilot. Chuck was post production supervisor, including graphic and music design as well as editorial and quality control. BCP creates content for just about any medium: television, movies, documentaries, private networks, mobile, internet, etc. First and foremost, we entertain. However, this enterprise has a deeper purpose: to help people/communities/professions/cultures better tell their own stories. In this way, our work broadens people's understanding of themselves, others, and the world we all share. Simply, BCP creates content that connects.
