Valley Green Companies is Central Minnesota's Premier Provider of Lawn Care, Shrub & Tree Care, Water Management, Mosquito Control, Christmas Lighting and Landscape Lighting Services.Valley Green Companies was started in 1990 by Michael & Joy Hornung. At our inception, we were a lawn and tree care franchise named Nitro Green, performing fertilization, weed control, insect and disease control and aeration services.In 2000, Valley Green Companies purchased two separate lighting franchises. Nite Time Décor, our landscape lighting franchise, and Christmas Décor the nations largest holiday decorating company. Since 2000, we have added an additional Christmas Décor territory serving the Northwest metro area for Maple Grove, Rogers, Elk River, Monticello, and most recently the Brainerd lakes area.In 2012, Valley Green Companies currently employs 11 individuals working in our summer and winter divisions. We are very proud to be entering our 23rd year in business and are thankful for the many satisfied customers we have been able to service.We look forward to helping you and your landscape become everything you want it to be.
