• Q.E.D. Systems has since 1981 been the worlds leading consultancy on automatic identification, having founded and chair the AIM Global RFID Experts Group and the ISO Joint Working Group on Supply Chain Applications of RFID, and having founded ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 31. He was project editor of the first JTC 1/SC 31 standard (ISO/IEC 15434) and the first JTC 1/SC 31 RFID standard (ISO/IEC 18000-7).He serves as an officer in numerous ANSI, ISO and JTC 1 groups and the liaison to ITU and ETSI. He participates in the specification development of EPCglobal. He has written substantially on the topic of RFID, is the author of four books on data collection technology, including Reading Between The Lines and Lines of Communications, and is a keynote speaker at international RFID and AIDC symposia.
