• Qrono is a specialty pharmaceutical company that reformulates known, approved drugs and creates long-acting injectable (LAI) medications with improved clinical and economic benefits for patients and other healthcare stakeholders. These long-acting, patentable drug formulations enable a single administration of active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) to provide a therapeutic effect ranging from several days to many weeks or months. Our pipeline strategy focuses on drugs with known safety and efficacy profiles in therapeutic areas with either high non-adherence, or where LAIs can add therapeutic value. We have demonstrated the ability to optimize formulation designs faster (~95%) , better (reduced initial burst, reduced regulatory risk, reduced production risk) and cheaper (>$1MM savings) than current best practice.Qrono also strategically offers long-acting formulation design services to other pharmaceutical companies.
