Tree is the second of piece of New Realitys trilogy, which focuses on on man-made catastrophe and positive social change. Tree premiered at Sundance New Frontier in 2017 before going onto Tribeca, TED, NAB Show Las Vegas, Indiebo in Colombia, and an extended run at the Phi Centre in Montreal.Giant: Trapped in an active war-zone, two parents struggle to distract their young daughter by inventing a fantastical tale. Inspired by true events, this immersive virtual-reality experience transports the viewer into the family's makeshift basement shelter. The parents' fairytale intensifies as bomb-blasts draw closer and closer...Tree: See and feel what its like to be one of the most essential building blocks of carbon-based life: a tree. This virtual reality experience allows you to become a seed that is planted and grows into a full-sized tree in the heart of the rainforest. With your arms as the branches and your body as the trunk, you experience the trees growth from a seedling to its fullest form, taking on its role in the forest and witnessing its fate firsthand.
