• From our corporate offices in southern New Jersey, BCA Insurance Group has been providing risk management and insurance solutions for businesses and individuals across the country since 1954. Its two principals - President Brett D. Balsley and Executive Vice President Lawrence (Larry) D. Cohen - bring combined insurance experience and expertise to our clients.Founded in 1954 by G. David Balsley as G. David Balsley Real Estate and Insurance, the firm initially focused on the sale of Real Estate, while providing personal lines insurance products for its clients. In 1982, following more than two decades of growth and prosperity, Donald Balsley (Davids Son) assumed control of the company. Under Donalds stewardship, the firm continued to grow at a rapid pace, especially in the Real Estate segment.In 1990, Brett Balsley (Donalds Son) joined the firms insurance division. He spent the next seven years successfully growing the business. In 1997, Don Balsley died suddenly and the insurance and real estate companies were separated. Brett became an owner and key principal in the insurance agency, purchasing the Louis Greenberg Agency and renaming the firm Balsley Losco Greenberg Insurance.Through a combination of the Greenberg acquisition and Bretts continued focus, the company grew steadily. In 2007, Brett purchased his partners interest and became sole owner of the Brett Balsley Insurance Group. In January 2012, Lawrence D. Cohen joined the firm as Executive Vice President and Partner, and by 2013, BCA Insurance Group was formed.Today, our clients range from small locally-owned companies to large multi-national companies. Our personal lines team handles a wide range of clients and coverages, from individual auto policies to high net worth clients. We provide complete employee benefit programs for employer groups from 2 to 200 that include health, dental and vision coverage. We also offer a complete spectrum of life and asset management products.
