• Austin Jewish Academy is a K-8th grade community school that aims to create a better world by raising students to their full academic, social, physical and spiritual potential guided by timeless Jewish values and traditions. The Austin Jewish Academy (AJA) has been a pillar of Austins Jewish community for almost 15 years. Since opening its doors in 1997, AJA has been committed to preparing young minds both for their academic careers and for their roles as critically-thinking Jewish leaders. AJAs progressive and rigorous Judaic and general studies curriculum provides opportunities for hands-on, collaborative learning within a nurturing environment and is built upon high expectations based on individual student profiles. Coupled with a rich foundation in Jewish heritage and values, the education that takes place at AJA ignites a life-long love of learning and a commitment to Tikun Olam. Together, these factors ensure Austin Jewish Academy graduates are todays accomplished, innovative thinkers and tomorrows compassionate problem-solvers and leaders. Austin Jewish Academy is a community Jewish Day School open to all students and is affiliated with RAVSAK, a non-profit organization that promotes pluralistic non-denominational Jewish education. AJA receives accreditation through AdvancED and is sustained with the generous financial support from Austins JCAA.
