That's because co-founder Craig Longhurst is an interior designer, and his excellent taste is visible in the velvet sofa, Cole and Son wallpaper, fresh flowers, and Knoll table you'll see upon entry.With surroundings so beautiful, it's not surprising that the cuts and blowouts are impeccable. Co-founder Gregorio Ruggeri has been styling since he was a teenager in Australia, and he's worked with top names including Australian Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Cate Blanchett. Through careful vetting, Ruggeri has assembled a team of talented stylistsincluding Michelle Garwood, who recently created the runway hair for Oscar de la Renta resort. In short, we'd bet it's impossible to leave Salon Ruggeri without loving your hair.If you've already been in on the secret, be sure to update your GPS directions, since Ruggeri and Longhurst recently relocated the salon from Murray Hill to Fifth Avenue.
