• Our family has owned and operated Empire Metal Finishing in NYC for over 100 years. About 20 years ago, we changed the name and shifted the focus of our business on servicing high-end residential and commercial designers, antique dealers, fabricators, contractors and architects like you. We excel in service and quality, and are used to satisfying even the most demanding clients. We operate in a 12,000 square foot facility, have a staff of 30 people who are well paid and have comprehensive benefits. Also, we are fully insured and 100% compliant with all regulating bodies including: EPA, DEC, DEP, OSHA and FDNY. Our main function is custom plating, polishing, metal restoration and repair at the highest level. Everything from door & window hardware, architectural metalwork and trim, to chandeliers and sconces, to bath, shower & kitchen hardware. We are also even capable of solving those minor problems in light fabrication. From fireplace surrounds, custom curtain hardware, custom made lighting to little things like special extended strike plates, or solid brass closet rods for your custom closets and much more.
