- Kearsarge Energy, a leading renewable energy project developer, operator, owner and asset management company, was formed in 2009 by a group of energy professionals with the belief that Kearsarge could create long-term economic and environmental value by working closely with local communities while leveraging its experience and access to project finance. Kearsarge, focused on meeting the growing demand for reliable and cost-effective commercial- and utility-scale renewable energy projects, has developed and financed 60 MW and $180 million of Solar in Massachusetts and Hawaii since 2011. The Company has used its excellent relationships with municipalities, public organizations, and private entities, to establish itself as one of the leading Solar Energy Development firms in the Northeast. Kearsarge has doubled its size over the past year and has an additional 175 MW of renewable energy projects currently in development across the U.S. By the end of 2017, Kearsarge will add to its portfolio another 50 MW of projects it will own and operate.
