The majority of our affordable housing projects involve distressed historic buildings which we transform to renovated gems housing modern, state-of-the-art apartments. We take immense pride in the quality of workmanship that goes into each rehabilitation project we perform. From incorporating the energy efficiency of new windows (replicated to appear historic) to full renovation of building interior and exterior, no architectural detail is overlooked as the building is revitalized and rededicated in purpose.Since 1999, The La Porte Group has approached projects with a talented and creative team of architects, engineers, contractors, financiers, and managers, all of whom are united in their desire to better the community and to advance affordable housing in Utah. Run-down buildings shine once more, anchoring communities to their history (told through exquisite architectural details) while offering charming, state-of-the-art apartments to low-income families and individuals.
