• In 2006 longtime colleagues Glen Andersen and Martha Coyne teamed up to form Michigan's first comprehensive electroneurodiagnostic testing service. After working in the field for a combined 50 years they realized there was a need to reduce costs for physicians and hospitals while simultaneously providing better care. Drawing from their diverse experience including sales, education and testing they were able to fill a gap that was missing by providing technical staff on an as needed basis.Most private neurologists had a need and desire to perform END testing in their offices but either did not have equipment or could not find qualified staff to perform testing. The unpredictability of patient population makes fulltime staffing undesirable in many instances. Glen and Martha made themselves available as often as needed without requiring conventional part time or full time employment. By billing per procedure they are able to accommodate multiple offices and require payment only for work performed.Over the past 6 years they have worked for over 20 neurology offices in the metro Detroit area, Lansing and Saginaw. In 2011 GLNS was contracted to act as the sole provider for EEG services at DMC Huron Valley Sinai Hospital.
