- The High Point Community Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to strengthening the community for both present and future generations. In simplest terms, we're a tax-exempt organization that collects, manages and distributes funds for the betterment of the greater High Point area. We are one of approximately 700 community foundations across the United States and part of a growing global trend with an estimated 1,175 community foundations identified in 46 countries.We have a four-pronged mission:1. Raise and grow an endowment for the community2. Administer an Annual Grants Program3. Manage funds for individuals, families, non profits and for profits4. Serve as a leader and a convener to make good things happen in the communityThe purpose of this page is to help unite people of the community to a mutual understanding of what the High Point Community Foundation stands for. This site is for donors and non-donors alike to stay informed on everything the Foundation is doing to better the High Point community.
