    Designs In Wood

    Get Full Access

    Description

    • Designs in Wood was founded in 1972 by artist John Ulery from a passion for creating art out of wood. What began with hand carved mirrors and armoires, developed into split wood bird houses and then custom, farm tables and furniture which we continue to make today. As John's son Devin has poured his heart and soul into the humble company since 2002, it has been transformed into what is now Carolina Farm Table. Focusing on traditional woodworking techniques with modern aesthetics built in, we offer handcrafted pieces of furniture. Clients delight in our hardwood farms tables, love the interesting reclaimed woods we are able to repurpose through hutches and various occasional pieces, and appreciate new metal accents and bases we incorporate. From the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina, we are a family owned and operated business and the custom pieces we create are all one of a kind, rich in design and stable enough to last generations. All crafted by hand individually, our heirloom pieces are meant to enrich a house to make it a home From our home to yours. Give us a call today to discuss your custom furniture needs! (336)372-8995
