• The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix (BGCMP) provides affordable, quality after-school and summer programs at its 13 Clubhouses located in some of the Valley's most challenging neighborhoods in Phoenix and the West Valley. Among membership at our Clubs, our Childrens Dental Clinic and youth outreach services, more than 27,000 youth and teens were impacted by transformative programs and crucial services last year. Our award-winning programs are designed to positively impact the lives of young people in four key areas: Academic Success: From the basics to advanced STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) programs, our youth love to learn because we make learning fun. Whether through focused reading time for youth or teaching teens how to manage their personal finances, our Club members acquire academic skills that carry over into the classroom as well as the real world. Be Great, Do Good: Our Clubs are creating the next generations of leaders, and we provide Club members with programs to encourage leadership and community involvement. Programs like Torch and Keystone Clubs, Leaders in Training (LIT) and other service groups encourage members to donate their time, energy and talent to a variety of causes. Healthy Choices: Active lifestyles and healthful nutrition are priorities at our Clubs. Our members learn nutritious meals mean a healthy, growing body and that physical activity fosters strong muscles. In fact, we served up more than 290,000 free, hot and healthy meals to hungry youth and teens last year. Fun with a Purpose: BGCMP offers an atmosphere of belonging that allows kids and teens to have fun and socialize with friends while also exercising, learning outside the classroom, and developing skills that will lead to a productive future.
