- The Schaumburg Boomers were established in 2012 and have since became a premiere franchise in the 12-team Frontier League, the longest running Independent baseball league in the country.In just four short years, the Boomers have made their mark in the Frontier League both on and off the field. They won two straight Frontier League championships in 2013 and 2014 and led the league in attendance in both 2014 and 2015 (up 30% overall since the inaugural 2012 season). The future is bright in Boomer Country as the franchise heads into its 5th season.The Boomers franchise prides itself on being an active and contributing member to the Schaumburg community.
