- Minds Matter of Cleveland was founded in 2008 by a group of ambitious young professionals. Since our founding, the effectiveness of Minds Matter of Cleveland has been affirmed 100 percent of the students that complete the program have been accepted to a four-year college or university. The Cleveland chapter has grown to a team of over 200 young professional volunteers who represent more than 50 different companies and organizations from Northeast Ohio. During the 2014-2015 Minds Matter year, volunteers devoted over 16,000 hours of community service. Since the original chapter was founded in New York, the organization has expanded to twelve cities, including New York, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, Portland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Minneapolis/ St. Paul, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Washington D.C.
