Hopewell Music Cooperative North
Get Full AccessDescription
- Through our music education programming and outreach work, we aim to strengthen the community by promoting acceptance, cooperation, and pride within our students, partners and community.Over the last decade funding for music education in schools all over the country has plummeted and where there are programs, they are far too expensive for the majority to participate in. In April 2012, Hopewell Music Cooperative - North was born when two teachers, Jaette Carpenter and Ellie Fregni, dreamed of creating a school of music that would serve any students desire to study music, regardless of their life situation. Hopewell North commits itself to offering music to ALL members of the community who want to participate, regardless of ability or circumstances. Our mission focuses on providing underserved students access to affordable and high quality private lessons, ensembles, and courses as well as to safe and vibrant performance opportunities for community members.
