• SunToWater is driving the commercialization of its innovative water-generation system that addresses water shortages by extracting inexpensive, abundant volumes of drinking water from the air. When the residential unit is operated off the grid and on solar power, the cost is eight cents per gallon. Initially, the company aims to deploy residential units among early-adopting individuals in California. When produced at scale, the company projects the residential unit cost at about $8,999 each the cost of a high-end refrigerator.
