• HSE is a professional corporation that was founded in 1982 as a specialized structural engineering firm. The current principal partners are Jay R. Saylor, P.E. and David T. Finkbeiner, P.E. From our headquarters in Victor, New York, we serve all areas of the United States. The current staff consists of 10 engineers and technical support personnel, including 5 Licensed Professional Engineers. We have earned a reputation for our attention to detail and responsiveness throughout the design and construction phases of a project. HSE has extensive structural design experience with a variety of building projects. The building structures have ranged from small one-story additions to multi-story buildings including residential, commercial, educational, municipal, industrial and parking garage structures. We have extensive experience working with different design and administrative teams including owners, developers, architects, Civil/Site/MEP engineers and construction managers. Currently, HSE has over 250 clients on an annual basis. Each year, we provide structural engineering services for projects totaling more than $250 million in construction. Part of HSEs mission is to support the future growth of our profession through education and professional affiliations. We are Corporate Members of the American Council of Civil Engineering Companies, the American Institute of Steel Construction, the Professional Engineers and Architects Council and the Structural Building Components Association.
