- The first Living Wisdom School was founded in 1972 in California, and now there are six Living Wisdom Schools worldwide. Living Wisdom School is based on the Education for Life philosophy described by J. Donald Walters in his book, Education for Life: Preparing Children to Meet Lifes Challenges. This is a holistic, educational approach which balances mind and heart, and body and spirit.The Living Wisdom School of Seattle was founded as a preschool in 2002. Our school has grown consistently each year. We have a large park like facility and offer classes from Preschool- 6th grade.
