    • Founded in 2010, Althera is a Pharmaceutical R&D and commercialization organization based in Ireland and New Jersey, USA. Our core mission is to improve lives of millions of patients in the developed and developing world by delivering innovative and complex products - both through our own development and through partnerships with other Pharmaceutical companies. We started development of branded pharmaceutical products in 2010 and have two compounds in various stages of regulatory filing process in multiple markets including EU. Additionally we have one compound in the development stage. We leverage existing molecules with proven efficacy and tolerability, and develop combinations, new formulations (505b2 or Article 10b applications) or new indications that lead to significant clinical and adherence benefits to the patients. In addition to our own development, we undertake extensive licensing and acquisition activities to bring specialty products to market that make significant impact on the lives of patients we aim to serve.
