- Our mission at Children's Air Ambulance International is to Provide all children and their family the access and the means to superior quality integrated health care 24 hours a day, while applying the highest standards of safety and quality in the industry.CAAI is unlike any other air ambulance providers, we are a dedicated critical care Pediatric fixed wing Air Ambulance provider and as well as a pediatric flight team provider. Not only do we provide air ambulance medical transportation and repatriation assistance, but we also are able to provide our specialize pediatric flight team to hospitals and other air ambulance providers.CAAI is licensed and insured in the State of Florida. Operational management is based at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Our highly trained and experienced pediatric flight transport team consist of critical care pediatric nurses, physician and paramedics. Our medical flight team members come from very diverse backgrounds and experience including emergency departments, PICU and NICU units, fixed-wing and helicopter transport services. All with a minimum of 5 years of experience in their profession with ACLS, NRP, PALS, Advanced training in medical flight physiology and posses the US D.O.T. 40 hr AMCCC certificate. Our aircraft fleet utilization consists of two Saberliner 65. Both aircrafts having dual stretcher and long range capabilities resulting in fewer stops and less stress on patients condition. Each aircraft has critical care air ambulance configuration with plenty of space for two stretcher or incubator.
