• Touchdown Radio Productions was founded in 2007 by 1992 Heisman Trophy Winner, Gino Torretta. In 2013, the company will enter its 7th season of nationally syndicated NCAA college football games, with over 300 network radio affiliates spanning coast-to-coast. Torretta handles color commentary, with play-by-play veterans, Frank Frangie & Roxy Bernstein calling the action.We deliver a network distributed NCAA college football game, on-site brand activation during tailgates prior to each game, and partner with College Kickoff, a nationally distributed college football TV show to round out the media distribution. In 2010, Tuchdown Radio partnered with Xbox 360 and Kinect, adding a tailgate tour to follow the broadcast schedule. Supporting sponsors were Best Buy, Windows Phone 7 & Nestle. Along with fellow Heisman Trophy winners, Torretta hosts these tailgates, complete with consumer interaction, the Heisman Trophy on display, and interactive opportunities for tailgaters.Torretta is one of the most celebrated football players in University of Miami and NCAA history. He won many awards during his prolific career as a Hurricane. In addition to the Heisman, he was also honored as the Walter Camp Player of the Year, the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, The Maxwell Trophy, and the Davey OBrien national quarterback award.
