• Independent Living, Inc. makes it possible for seniors and adults with disabilities to live in the comfort of their own homes. Based in Madison, Wisconsin, we are a local nonprofit organization that has been taking care of Dane County seniors and adults with disabilities for more than 40 years. Through our home health care agency, clients receive medical services at home: nursing care, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Through our comprehensive array of non-medical services, individuals have access to * Evening Meals on Wheels or at-home meal preparation* housekeeping help* lawn care* transportation * personal assistance ranging from bathing to medication management* home safety modification including grab bars, ramps and medical equipment, and* household money management from setting budgets to paying bills and organizing paperwork.An active volunteer program offers regular telephone reassurance calls, friendly visiting, meal delivery, and home help varying from snow removal to errands and other tasks.
