• The International Drone Racing Association (IDRA) is the world standard in drone racing. Founded in 2015, IDRA organized the world's first drone racing series, the California Cup, and began planning the first world championship in Dubai. As a partner with the Prime Minister's Office of Dubai, IDRA was the Consulting Producer for the World Drone Prix in March, 2016. Since, IDRA has organized the North America Cup and assisted in the production of the Asia Cup and the GiGA World Masters in Busan, South Korea. Recently, IDRA announced the 2017 Challengers Cup, which will sanction races around the world. Mission: IDRA is the world standard in drone racing. The company will develop the sport into a profession, grow the community, fuel innovation, and transcend industries. In order to ensure the community's continual growth, IDRA founded the non-profit (UAS STEM Alliance) to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) via drone technology and drone racing. IDRA and their supporters announced the founding of the UAS STEM Alliance at a Congressional Briefing in Washington, D.C. IDRA is based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area.
