• EvoLux Transportation is a tech­travel company that has launched the worlds first helicopter charter marketplace and social SkyShare reservation platform. Our patent-pending reservation platform allows FAA Part-135 Certified operators the ability to distribute the availability and location of their aircraft on Evo-Lux.com, where regional travelers can book privately, or invite others to grab a seat and split charter costs to a shared destination. EvoLux is making it easy for travelers to plan, compare and share aircraft options socially, then book SkyLimo flights between airports, heliports, resorts, cruise ports, racetracks, and other high-end destinations for around the same price as using a limo. Through SkyShare, EvoLux is making private travel more affordable and accessible to a larger audience as an alternative mode of transport, while simultaneously advancing and maturing the private travel marketplace. We are innovating at the intersection of mobile, logistics, and global distribution technologies in order to drive efficiencies through the commercial regional charter industries. Maximizing vacation time for leisure travelers, productivity for business travelers, and utilization rates for commercial aircraft operators. In August of 2011, EvoLux began testing its prototype reservation system in the South Florida market as a proof of concept, generating early revenues that validated the model. The team learned what features, functions, and metrics would best catalyze this new travel space and began seeking out partners to help grow and scale the technology business. In February of 2013, EvoLux was announced the winner of Sikorsky Innovations Global Entrepreneurial Challenge and moved its headquarters from Boca Raton, FL to Stamford, CT.
