Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance will cover Hospice Savannah's care; however, care is provided regardless of ability to pay.We provide medications and therapies to provide comfort and independence; 24-hour-on-call availability of our registered nurses, social workers and chaplains; medical equipment such as hospital beds, oxygen, wheelchairs; supplies and disposable paper products; direct delivery of medications and supplies to your home; emergency admission to Hospice House for aggressive pain or symptom management; five-day respite stays in Hospice House to offer caregivers a break; music therapy, story keeping, massage, reiki, speech therapy and nutritional counseling as needed; support of two full-time physicians both certified in hospice and palliative care.
