Giles became disenchanted with the corporate approach while working as the Service Manager at a national copier corporation. In an effort to drive profits, the company had laid off many of the technicians, and service response had fallen to 4 days for down machines. Realizing there was a better way, Giles left the corporate rat race and began providing quick, personalized service with a 4-hour response time guarantee. This approach quickly allowed him to gain a sizable customer base and grow the company to what it is today.
