- Linda Edgerton is an independent communications consultant with more than 20 years experience in public relations and marketing. She works with organizations large and small to create and implement comprehensive communication plans that tackle their challenges, raise their visibility and build their bottom line. An honors graduate of the School of Journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Edgerton has worked as a reporter and editor for a daily newspaper and as a member of the corporate public relations team for three Fortune® 500 companies AT&T, Lucent Technologies and, most recently, Avaya. As senior public relations manager for Avaya, Edgerton supported the companys global strategic alliance business, federal government team and regional sales teams east of the Mississippi. Edgerton resides in Greensboro, N.C. She serves on the Board of Trustees for both Guilford College and the Friends Publishing Corporation, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit.
