• LEVERAGEDWISDOM, founded by Richard Lavin, is a member-based peer-to-peer learning and one-to-one leadership coaching service for high performance decision makers, who intend to increase the equity value of their businesses while creating a better life/work balance.HOW DOES IT WORK?A LEVERAGEDWISDOM group meets monthly for a full day in a facilitated process organized around a structured agenda. The group includes up to 12 owners of privately held businesses committed to being helpful to one another. Being among peers who are not in the same business and pledged to confidentiality creates a safe environment where issues and opportunities can be candidly reviewed.Each member brings skills; wisdom and experience that can amplify each of our best leadership traits and help improve our own decision making process. Each of us has blind spots that hinder clear vision and it is our commitment to help each other see around those blind spots. In this context of the group, we can make mistakes without harm, avoid failures and nurture success.ONE2ONE COACHINGIn addition to the Members monthly peer-to-peer group work, each member participates in a monthly closed door one2one coaching session. This session is meant to challenge assumptions, uncover real issues, acknowledge limitations and help the entrepreneur understand whats really going on; because, its hard to see the picture when youre inside the frame. These coaching sessions help the leader marshal his or her personal and business resources to make better decisions which in turn leads to greater equity value in their business.FEET TO THE FIREUltimately, the most challenging part of our learning model is accountability. As part of the process each of us must state our strategic business and personal goals for the short and long term. We then leverage our collective wisdom to help each other achieve our goals and hold each others feet to the fire.LEVERAGEDWISDOM IS NOT FOR EVERYONE.
