Artreach At Lillstreet

Description

• ArtReach seeks to transform individuals and their communities through the provision of high quality and innovative art instruction. We serve populations that face economic, physical, cognitive, or other barriers to art resources and art education. Whether your community serves individuals in elementary or high school, elders in a variety of settings, groups with adaptive needs, or other unique populations, our dedicated instructors and facilitators will guide the participants through an enriching creative experience.Since 1989, ArtReach has been the non-profit sister organization to the Lillstreet Art Center, one of the largest art facilities in the US. ArtReach believes that creative expression is a fundamental need for all people. That belief, coupled with a desire to bring Lillstreets transformative arts education to audiences with limited access, led to the creation of ArtReach (formerly the Lillstreet Learning Center) as a 501(c)3 organization. With many of the same curricular offerings as Lillstreet, ArtReach provides more than 6,000 art experiences per year in ceramics, painting & drawing, recycled art, puppet & mask making, metalsmithing, textiles, and much more.
