This is the promise and the beauty of bodywork.It is the purpose of SSMT to train students for a career in massage therapy and to create a learning environment in which the journey is as valuable as the destination. It is also our aim to equip students with the ability to make the most of further education in bodywork. In doing so we strive to graduate mindful, creative, knowledgeable professionals who will use their skill and compassion to benefit themselves and their communities.Finally, it is our intention to have fun. In addition to being transformative, the classroom experience is filled with camaraderie, respect and laughter. The instructors foster an atmosphere that stimulates the desire to learn and students respond by discovering the joy of learning. We also have the most delicious pot-luck meals during break-times and holiday parties. Sometimes we hold classes on the beach. The bonds of friendship and connections that are formed here are difficult to describe and can only be experienced.
