• Grace and Glory is on a mission to fight hunger, encourage play and give hope to vulnerable children and communities throughout Middle Tennessee and beyond. Little Heroes Program: We reach out to children in homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, underprivileged communities and various programs to provide an afternoon of play and encouragement. We provide a Bag of Hope filled with the children's basic necessities and include a special superhero cape as a gift. This year we are excited to be launching a curriculum for this program that allows us to go deeper into the conversation with the children about finding their own special abilities. The Bienveillance School: In Lanzac, Haiti we provide an affordable primary education to children in the community that have gone without. This year we will begin serving hot lunches to combat malnutrition. After-school hours the building is used for adult literacy classes. It is our desire to continue the growth of the Bienveillance School to make a greater impact in the community. Leadership Development: A large part of bringing hope and support to the children we serve in Haiti is sustained improvement in their community. To accomplish this, we believe in pouring in to local leaders and developing them into leaders worth following. Leaders who serve others, lead by example, develop relationships and lift up their families. There are very limited opportunities for leadership training, mentoring, and education for the community leaders we serve. What sets our training apart is the sustainable model of lifting up leaders and providing them with the tools and resources necessary to carry what they have learned further into their communities. Leaders we reach out to consist of teachers, pastors, students, medical personnel, parents, and more.
