• Overcrowded. Substandard. Financially burdened. These problems create instability in our community, weaken our economy, and even impact health and educational success. These problems are an everyday reality for many Pinellas County children and families. Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County, Inc. is one of the foremost organizations in the Tampa-St. Petersburg MSA with a focus on providing adequate and affordable housing to struggling, low-income families in our community. In 2012, we dedicated our 250th home. Two years later, we dedicated our 300th house in St. Petersburg.In partnership with the community, Habitat works toward the ultimate goal of eliminating substandard housing throughout Pinellas County. Habitat provides a hand up, not a hand out, selling safe, affordable and sustainable houses to qualified homeowner candidates with a 30-year, 0% mortgage.Mission StatementPutting faith into action, Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County promotes family stability by providing innovative and affordable housing solutions to qualified individuals and families.
