• Bite of Boston is three family-owned and -operated fast-casual food establishments located in the city of San Diego.The Bite of Boston produces a simple and straightforward menu of New England-style submarine sandwiches and other food items using fresh, all-natural ingredients. There is not one ounce of processed (a.k.a. phony) meat, pork, poultry or fish products anywhere inside any the Bite of Boston restaurants.The BoB is most-known for our authentic Maine lobster rolls, wicked awesome New England clam chowder, and our seafood plates -- whose ingredients are flown 3,000 miles once or twice-per-week to ensure that you are eating the freshest North Atlantic sea creatures -- just as if you were sitting at a clam shack in New England.Bite of Boston offers many variations and different products from what is traditionally served in sandwich shops and deli's on the West Coast. The most important difference is the submarine rolls and breads -- the soft water in New England delivers tasty submarine rolls and other assorted breads delivered to San Diego. All of the cold cuts/meats in our submarines are provided by Philadelphia-based Dietz & Watson and are sent to Bite of Boston on a twice-per-week basis.Every day of the week we serve delicious Lobster Rolls. They consist of fresh lobster meat (flown-in from Maine) and a minimal amount of mayonaisse and diced celery stuffed into an authentic, butter-grilled New England frankfurt roll. We also offer a plate or grilled-roll of incredibly fresh Ipswich Fried Clams (with bellies), Fried Scallops, Fried Shrimp, and a delicious Fish & Chips Plate (with North Atlantic-produced haddock), and the All-of-the-Above platter -- all include crinkle-cut french fries and homemade cole slaw.In addition, Bite of Boston caters and delivers to anytime-of-day corporate/business functions taking place in-house or off-site in San Diego County as well as social functions, holiday parties and family get-togethers.
