Cbe International

Description

• Founded in 1988, Christians for Biblical Equality (CBE) is a global 501c3 nonprofit organization of Christian men and women who believe that the Bible, properly interpreted, teaches the fundamental equality of men and women of all ethnic groups, all economic classes, and all age groups. CBE promotes the biblical ideal of gift-based service and leadership in the church, home, and world. CBE has members, ministry partners, and local chapters in the US, Australia, Cambodia, Canada, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda, among other countries. CBE reaches out nationally and globally with conferences, adult and youth curriculum, curated multi-media materials (via CBEs online bookstore, cbebookstore.org), and award-winning publications. International collaborations aim to eliminate gender-based violence and human trafficking, improve girls access to education, and raise the status of women in extreme patriarchal societies. CBE works with organizations such as World Vision, Ekklesia Foundation for Gender Education in Kenya, The Forum on Women, Religion, Violence & Power at The Carter Center, Chab Dai in Cambodia, and the Global Center for Women & Justice at Vanguard University.Member of ECFA, EPA, NAE, GuideStar Gold Participant
